A Modern Era of Care. ##### The best schools don’t just teach riding, they build people. Finding a reliable, high-quality lesson barn on Long Island has become increasingly difficult as local farms close or relocate. For over 80 years, Thomas School of Horsemanship has stood as a permanent anchor for equestrian families. When owners Sean and Barbara Martens—former riding parents with a long-time TSH connection—took the reins, they made a lasting commitment to preserve this institution. In our 49-acre home in Jericho, we combine an 80+ year tradition of horsemanship with modern barn technology, rigorous safety standards, and experienced instruction. Whether your child is sitting on a horse for the very first time or preparing for horse show, TSH provides a welcoming community where riders develop responsibility, gain real confidence, and belong.
